Question for today!! How far from a road should you harvest any type of plant that you plan on using for ingesting or topically even?

I've been seeing a lot of people harvesting from right next to the road, and that's not safe with winter salt, vehicles leaking oil, antifreeze or exhaust. Even on dirt roads.

🚨🚨Update!!! As of right now I am sold out of shower steamers and most of my deodorant. I have the deodorant cooling and will have it inside tomorrow evening. Shower Steamers will be ready Saturday afternoon! 😁

Not to sound sappy or complaining, just looking for advice. I haven't seen much traffic on my website lately😞. Kind of disappointing. I have not figured out how to push it more, anyone have any suggestions?
I do offer porch pick-up on it!! But I have not had any of those either, or any visits to The Cabinet. So any suggestions for me?

I am going to try to post daily what is in The Cabinet 😊.
So, today's items are my .25ish oz bags of loose leaf tea.
These are $3 each
I have:
2 Ginger, Lemon, Mint and Lavender

2 Mullein, Marshmallow Root, Fennel Seed, and Butterfly Pea.

1 Fennel Seed, Milk Thistle, Dandelion Root, Peppermint, and Ginger

2 Elderberry, Mullein, Red Raspberry, Ginger, and Echinacea.

1 Elderberry, Hibiscus, and Orange.

1 Ginger, Turmeric, and Black Pepper Corn.

The picture sucks but oh well😅.
