I ask about your job, your commute, your sleep, your stress - not just where it hurts. Because where it hurts is almost never the whole story.

No apologies.

The heated table is non-negotiable. The hour is non-negotiable. The silence is deeply, personally non-negotiable.

And honestly, if you've ever climbed onto a massage table and immediately felt your entire nervous system exhale before a single hand touched you, you already know exactly what I'm talking about.

That's what a good setup does. That's what the right therapist does. Every single time.

If you're a one-hour-minimum, heated-table, don't-talk-to-me-until-it's-over kind of person...you're going to feel very at home here.

No offense to the hot bath.

It's doing its best. The wine too. And look… doom scrolling has gotten us all through some genuinely difficult times and we don't need to pretend otherwise.

But here's the thing none of them can do: actually get into the tissue. Find the jaw tension you've stopped noticing. Release the shoulders that have been somewhere near your ears since January. Convince your nervous system that it's safe to stop bracing.

That's not a hot bath situation. That's an hour on my table situation.

If you read that and felt personally called out... hi, this is your sign.

The jaw clenching. The sleep that doesn't restore. The shoulders that haven't dropped since you can remember. The "I'm fine" that has become so automatic you don't even notice you're saying it anymore.

None of that is just stress. All of that is your body keeping a very detailed record of everything you've been carrying… and it will keep that record until someone actually helps you put it down.

That's what a session with me does. Not just an hour of relaxation. An actual reset: for the jaw, the shoulders, the sleep, and the part of you that keeps saying it's fine when it isn't.

Jaw tension doesn’t always scream for attention…sometimes it whispers in ways you’d never expect.

Common signs you might be clenching or grinding:
🔹 Headaches
🔹 Stiff neck or shoulders
🔹 Earaches or ringing in the ears
🔹 Clicking or popping when you open your mouth
🔹 Waking up with facial tension or a sore jaw

Many people hold stress in their jaw without even noticing (especially while sleeping, driving, or focusing at a screen).

The good news?
Massage can help release the muscles around your TMJ (temporomandibular joint), reduce tension, and bring relief where you didn’t even realize you were holding stress.

The foam roller has been in the same corner of your room since 2022.

It's okay. We don't have to talk about it.

But here's the thing: foam rolling, stretching, the YouTube videos, the self-massage tools… all of it is genuinely better than nothing. I'm not here to tell you otherwise.

What I am here to tell you is that none of it does what an actual session does. Because none of it knows where to look, what to feel for, or how to work with what your body is actually holding right now.

That's not something you can foam roll your way into. That's what I do.

The foam roller will still be there when you get back, but you probably won't need it as much.

Here's what most people don't know about massage: the results compound.

Session 1: Your body remembers what it feels like to let go

Session 2: It gets there faster and holds it longer

Session 3: Patterns that have been building for years start to actually shift

Session 4+: Your body starts arriving at sessions already softer, because it knows what's coming and it trusts the process

That progression doesn't happen with the occasional emergency session. It happens because the body learns over time… and a standing monthly appointment is how you give it enough time to learn.

This is why my long-term clients don't just feel better after their sessions. They feel better in general. Their baseline changes.

That's what a standing appointment buys you. Not just relief. A different normal.
