Recently, we hosted our first Annual Skills Fair!

Offering hands-on learning across our care teams, nurses enhanced wound care skills, CNAs practiced accurate brief measurement and application, and physicians provided focused education on end-of-life care.

Interdisciplinary Team Members, including chaplains and social workers, reinforced compassionate communication and a supportive presence at the bedside.

Together, these moments of learning strengthen the compassionate, high-quality care we provide every day at Halifax Health - Hospice 💙

Recently, our Halifax Health - Bereavement team participated in the Volusia Recovery Alliance’s third annual "Stronger Together" Recovery Awareness Walk on Saturday April 18 at Riverfront Esplanade Park in Daytona Beach.

We joined other community partners and organizations for a powerful day of hope, unity, and celebration!

Halifax Health - Hospice is proud to collaborate with the Volusia Recovery Alliance to facilitate their Bridge4Hope Support group, for those who have lost a loved one to overdose.

This morning, Halifax Health officially transitioned to Epic! 🎉

With this transition comes MyChart, your new all‑in‑one health app. Get test results on your phone, message your care team, schedule visits, request prescription refills, and access your health record in one secure place!

If you're already registered for one of our existing platforms, such as Athena or Meditech, you should receive an email or text message with instructions on how to set up your new MyChart account (if you haven't already). Not registered for one of our existing platforms? Not registered for one of our existing platforms? Not a problem - just ask your provider to send you a link to register for MyChart at your next appointment. We will discontinue use of Meditech, Athena, and other platforms when we launch MyChart on January 30.
