Dear Tiny Notes Families, ❤️

I wanted to take a moment to give everyone a little update on what has been going on with me.

Over the past several weeks, I have been facing some pretty significant medical challenges that have resulted in multiple hospitalizations. Unfortunately, I am still currently hospitalized, and my medical team is discussing the possibility of transferring me to a larger hospital in Seattle for more specialized care.

We are still searching for answers, and while this has been an incredibly difficult and unexpected journey, I am hopeful that we will get things figured out and I can begin feeling better soon.

I miss being at the center, seeing all of our kiddos, and being part of the everyday magic that makes Tiny Notes so special. I truly hope to be back sooner rather than later, but right now I have to focus on getting healthy.

In the meantime, Mrs. Elaina, Mr. Kevin, Ms. Andi, Miss Alex, and all of our incredible staff have been doing an amazing job holding down the fort! They are working hard to make sure everything continues running smoothly and that our children and families are supported. I am incredibly grateful for each of them. If you have any questions, concerns, or need assistance with anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out to one of them. They are there to help!

We are also actively looking to bring an additional BCBA or LABA onto our team to provide extra clinical support. We are open to both part-time and full-time opportunities! If you know anyone who might be interested in joining our Tiny Notes family, please send them our way!

I cannot express how grateful I am for everyone’s patience, understanding, and support during this time.

Tiny Notes is so much more than a business to me. It is something I have poured my heart into, and being away from the children, families, and staff has been one of the hardest parts of all of this.

Thank you for continuing to trust us with your amazing children and for giving me the time and grace to focus on getting better. I miss you all tremendously and cannot wait until I can be back doing what I love. ❤️

• Updating patient records for the Occupational Therapist
• Keeping the office, treatment room and equipment in good order
• Teaching patients, family members, or other Caregivers skills and techniques to help with the patients’ treatment program

Hello Community,

I’m writing this not just as a business owner, but as a special needs mom.

I know what it feels like to fight for services, to sit on waitlists, and to hear “there’s nothing available.” And lately, what I’m seeing in our community is something that is breaking my heart even more.

Families are losing services.
Families can’t find childcare.
Parents want to work, need to work in this economy, but can’t find care for their child that is safe, supportive, and truly understanding of their needs.

I see parents forced to choose between their job and their child.
I see children going without the support they deserve.
And I know what that feels like.

That’s why Tiny Notes exists.

We didn’t start this just to run a program. We started this because we wanted to be part of the solution. We wanted to create a place where all children belong, from high needs to low needs. A place rooted in inclusion, music, movement, and art, where every child is seen, supported, and given the opportunity to grow.

Right now, we are at capacity.

We are turning families away, not because we want to, but because we simply don’t have the space.

Our vision is bigger than where we are today.
We want to expand into a larger space so we can add
Speech therapy
Physical therapy
Daycare and preschool options for working families

We want to create a true inclusive space for this community, one that fills the gaps families are facing right now.

But the reality is, we are a small team trying to carry something really big.

With Medicaid rates being so low, growth like this is incredibly hard. We have had a contractor look at what it would take to build out a new space, and the cost is overwhelming, but the need is so real.

So I’m asking for help.

We need our community to come alongside us.

We are looking for
Local business sponsorships
Support through our fundraising efforts, we have some happening now
Community support, people willing to share, support, and believe in this mission

This is not just about expanding a business.
This is about creating something our community desperately needs.
This is about making sure families are not left without options.

I want to be the change. I want to help.
But I cannot do this alone.
