A new chapter is emerging.

In a few short months I'll be opening my books and taking on new clients for 1:1 herbal consultations.

Going deeper with health history and utilizing tools like face mapping, tongue evaluation, and iridology for a more in depth look into the tissue states of the body make my herbalist (and soon to be naturopath) heart sing.

I love making remedies but crave being able to work with folks on a more individual and personal level and can't wait to make this offering available ✨🌱✨

Change of plans...
Typically I close up shop this weekend and this year I wasn't planning to buuuut the medicine garden (and my body) reminded me that we take a pause during this time for a reason.

✨🌱 HYDROSOL S A L E 🌱✨

It's time to start running the still again and making fresh hydrosols - one of my favorite ways to connect with the plants.

Hydrosols, often referred to as floral waters, are the gentle aromatic waters that are achieved from slowly distilling plant material. Many distillers describe them as being the byproduct of making essential oils but we consider essential oils the byproduct of making hydrosols.

We make all of our hydrosols in small batches using an alembic copper still, purified Oregon spring water, and organically grown and/or ethically wildcrafted fresh botanicals. Because of this, many of these offerings are limited & seasonal and often vary slightly in scent from batch to batch.

✨ For the month of May all of our hydrosols will be 20% off both in the apothecary and online (discount automatically applied at check out). ✨

Last month we tried out a slightly different schedule at the apothecary and we're going to stick with it throughout the rest of Spring.
The only change is that once the Valley Flora Farmstand fires back up (likely in a few weeks 🤗) we'll be popping up on most Wednesdays from 11:30-1:30.

Looking forward to seeing everyone either in the shop or up the creek!

I'm not quite sure where the influx of California Poppy orders are coming from - but thank you 🥹🙏🏼

I love this blossom both as a simple beacon of joy in the medicine garden and as a powerful ally in my wellness arsenal. California Poppy is traditionally used as a calming supporter for the nervous system (hello Chill Pill). It can also be used to help promote sleep and to help support pain relief. If I've made you a custom blend for pain support in the apothecary, there's a high probability it had California Poppy in it.

This is a potent plant ally and is considered to be gentle enough for all ages but use caution with latex allergies.
