A sugar paste, a similar consistency to a taffy, is molded gently onto the skin at a luke warm temperature where it penetrates the
folicle, adhering to the unwanted hair. With a swift flick the sugar paste is pulled
in the direction of hair growth (as oppose to the opposite direction, which is standard of waxing). The hair is gently lifted up and out of the folicle along with

in cells (sugaring also offers a mild exfoliation treatment by way of this added quality). Hair can be extracted at 1/4 of an inch in length, or about 10 days grow out, at the anagen
stage of hair growth, where-by the hair is still attached to the papilla dermis --the hair's "food source." With damage to this food source by means of extracting at this stage, results can be achieved of refinement or permanency over consecutive treatments. Sugaring is reported to be less painful than waxing or other forms of epilation, due to the nature of it's application and gentle make-up. Sugaring is an excellent choice for individuals with sensitive skin. Additionally, sugaring is non-toxic and easy on the environment being 100% biodegradable, and there are no strips or sticks to throw away.
