From the moment she was old enough to stand beside me in the studio, Tori has been part of this business. šŸ’—

She grew up here. She learned every part of it with me, not just piercing and jewelry, but how to care for people, how to make someone feel comfortable, confident and special the moment they walk through our doors.

Today, Iā€™m beyond proud to share that Tori has officially graduated from Monmouth University with a business degree, and also studied abroad at the University of New South Wales in Australia, all so she could come back home with even more knowledge, vision, and passion for the future of this business we built together.

And now, sheā€™s officially back full time. āœØ

Together, weā€™re entering such a beautiful new chapter. Weā€™re expanding our jewelry collections, introducing permanent jewelry, opening six days a week for piercing, expanding and continuing to grow something that has always been built with love, family, and heart.

As a mother, thereā€™s nothing more emotional than watching your child grow up beside youā€¦ and then choose to come back and stand beside you again. šŸ„¹

Iā€™m so proud of the woman Tori has become, and so excited for everything still to come. šŸ’Ž

20 years ago, I opened my doors with a newborn in my arms and no real plan, just determination.

But my story didnā€™t start there.

I came to this country when I was 5 years old with nothing. We didnā€™t have much, but we had strength, resilience, and the will to build a better life. Everything I have today came from learning to work for it.

Years later, I found myself a single mother, holding my baby and walking away from a life that could have cost me everything. I didnā€™t have the luxury of ā€œfiguring it outā€ slowly, I had to be strong, fast. I had a child depending on me.

So I built something.

Not just a businessā€¦ a life.

My daughter was raised inside that salon. She grew up watching me work, sacrifice, and never give up. I changed diapers between appointments, closed early to pick her up from school, and brought her right back with me to finish the day. My clients became family, and their children became her friends.

There were days I was exhausted. Days I questioned everything. Days I wished I could just stay home and be ā€œnormal.ā€

But I kept going.

Because this was never just about me, it was about creating something better for her.

And today, 20 years laterā€¦ I get to see what that really meant.

My daughter is graduating this May with a degree in Business and Marketing. She studied abroad in Australia at one of the top business schools, something I could have only dreamed of.

I never had the opportunity to go to college, so this moment is incredibly emotional for me. To see her accomplish something I couldnā€™t, and to know it came from everything we built togetherā€¦ there are no words for that feeling.

And the best part, sheā€™s coming back to work with me, and together weā€™re going to grow this business even more. What started as a small childrenā€™s salon has become so much more. I see resilience. I see growth. I see a future that once felt impossible.

And weā€™re not done yet. Weā€™re expandingā€¦ and this next chapter is going to be even bigger.
