This little guy wasn’t rushing, multitasking, or comparing himself to the bugs around him.

Maybe we were never meant to sprint through every season of life.

Maybe healing, parenting, growing, resting, rebuilding… all happen slower than we expected.

Today we pause to remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

We also recognize that Memorial Day can bring a mix of emotions — gratitude, grief, pride, longing, and reflection. For many families, loss and sacrifice are deeply personal.
