Another tip to sync up your circadian rhythms so you have great energy during the day and can sleep soundly at night: Adjust the temperature of your house/room so that it cools down at night and warms up in the morning. Cooler temperatures are best for sleeping. You can use as many blankets as you need as long as the air is cooler. Warmer temperatures wake you up. YOU NEED CARBS! Carbs have been a source of controversy over the years. However, the research is clearer when you’re using a higher carb diet with whole food, high quality sources. A high-carb diet can actually be helpful and healing even in conditions that we traditionally think of as being carb-sensitive, such as type 2 diabetes. On a low-carb diet, you aren’t getting all the nutrients your body needs for optimal health. In short, EAT MORE CARBS!

Constipation is a common problem. You should have a bowel movement EVERY day at least once (twice is ideal). Most common causes include dehydration, low fiber and OVER EATING. Drink more pure water especially first thing in the morning and then throughout the day (mostly between meals). Then, whatever you eat, eat less and chew more! “Little hinges swing big doors” -W. Testing your own pH is one of the most inexpensive but accurate ways to check your overall health. Check your first morning urine pH. You can get test paper here (it’s really inexpensive and lasts a long time). It should be between 6.4-7.0 . If it’s not, there could be several reasons. The most common include: bone loss, dental issues, immune issues (infections), low minerals, too much acidic foods (diet rich in meat, dairy, sugar, caffeine and processed foods). Have you checked your pH lately? How are you doing?

Warning! NAC (N-Acetylcysteine) is a common “popular” supplement that is sweeping the media (much the way that D3 did a few years ago). It can indeed be helpful for many things; however, if you still have mercury amalgam fillings, NAC will spread the mercury all over the body.
