What is Holistic Pelvic Care™?

Holistic Pelvic Care™ is a gentle, restorative approach to pelvic health that supports balance, healing, and reconnection in the pelvic region.

Offered by Jen Owen, NP at The Flourish Center, this work uses breathwork, visualization, and gentle intra-vaginal massage to support the pelvic floor and surrounding tissues with deep respect and care.

Holistic Pelvic Care™ may be helpful for those navigating pelvic pain, menstrual changes, low libido, menopause transitions, incontinence, fertility challenges, postpartum recovery, unresolved hip or low back pain, grief after loss, or a desire to reconnect with the body in a more grounded way.

This work is highly individualized and whole-person focused, honoring both the physical and emotional layers of pelvic healing.

Still exhausted even though your labs are “normal”?

In Jen Owen, NP’s new blog, she shares why fatigue is often more layered than one lab result can explain. Energy is influenced by sleep quality, stress physiology, hormones, metabolism, nutrition, inflammation, and the daily patterns that quietly shape how your body functions.

At The Flourish Center, we take a whole-person, integrative approach to understanding fatigue — so you’re not left guessing, pushing through, or feeling like your symptoms are being dismissed.

Chronic fatigue can be easy to brush off as “just being tired,” but ongoing exhaustion is worth paying attention to.

If you’re waking up tired, crashing during the day, feeling foggy or depleted, or relying on caffeine just to get through, your body may be asking for more support.

Jen Owen, NP takes a whole-person approach to exploring fatigue and the patterns that may be contributing to it.

Are you still exhausted even though your labs are “normal”? 😴

You’re not imagining it and fatigue is often more complex than a basic lab panel can explain. Sometimes we need to look deeper at sleep quality, stress and nervous system health, nutrition and blood sugar balance, hormones, lifestyle habits, and inflammation.

If you’re looking for a more holistic approach to your health, we’re here to help explore the root causes behind how you’re feeling 🌿

We have some exciting news to share from The Flourish Center!

Elissa Cibu, our Executive Medical Assistant, is starting nursing school this fall at Clackamas Community College, and we could not be more excited for her. Nursing feels like such a natural next step for Elissa, and we are honestly blown away by the heart, professionalism, and care she brings to her work here at The Flourish Center.

Elissa will still be working with us while she’s in school, and we feel so lucky that our community will continue to benefit from her steady, thoughtful presence.

Please join us in congratulating Elissa as she begins this exciting new chapter. We’re so proud of her and can’t wait to cheer her on along the way.

Today for Lifestyle Medicine Week, we’re focusing on connectedness. 💗

Social connection is one of the core pillars of Lifestyle Medicine because our relationships and support systems can have a real impact on physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Connection doesn’t have to be complicated. It can look like volunteering, joining a community group, attending a local event, spending time with people who share your interests, or simply reaching out to someone you care about.

At The Flourish Center, we believe sustainable health change is easier when you don’t have to do it alone. Support, encouragement, accountability, and community all matter.

In honor of Lifestyle Medicine Week, we’re offering 25% off Flourish Foundations and Flourish Forward. These programs are designed to help you build sustainable habits around the core pillars of Lifestyle Medicine, including nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, connection, and long-term health.

Flourish Foundations is available now for immediate access, and Flourish Forward begins May 24 with more structure, support, and accountability.

Today for Lifestyle Medicine Week, we’re focusing on restorative sleep. 🌙

Sleep is one of the most important foundations for long-term health. When we don’t get enough sleep—or when sleep is interrupted—it can affect energy, focus, mood, hunger, cravings, metabolism, immune health, and how well we show up in daily life.

A few simple places to start:

Try to keep a consistent sleep and wake time.
Get natural light during the day.
Keep your bedroom dark, quiet, and comfortable.
Limit screens, caffeine, alcohol, and heavy food close to bedtime.

Small sleep habits can make a big difference over time.
