My brand new shop, Enerjahtics, might be Portland's *only* ceremonial tattoo shop. Opened on Summer solstice of 2014, within the Manife'Station art collective, as an alternative to the rock n' roll shops that seem to rule the scene, this small and private museum-like space has one station with one artist (me) who will focus entirely on your sacred art piece as the intentional ritual of body modifi
cation that it is. We will create the environment in which you can come away with an initiation; a powerful experience that will help you to embody the meaning in your new tattoo and the symbolism therein. Whether you have hundreds of tattoos or none, I understand what it means to create a ceremony and cultivate majik through the use of our thoughts, words, and actions. With this in mind, first tattoos are one of my specialties, helping you to design not just an image but also a memorable right of passage for yourself.
