This is an old video but good news, took us a bit of time, but good news is Jayden is at the 3 month mark post treatment and his scan are all clear! He’s most happy about growing 2 1/2 more inches 🙌🏼😂😂💛💛 Jayden is feeling great and getting right back to his regularly scheduled activities of swimming, tree climbing, bike riding, basically outside sun up to sun down with friends!

Port removal was a success last week and he recovered like a champ! Today is our next set of scans. This is the 3 month mark! CT of his lungs (standard for watching for met tumors) and an MRI of his brain to see how the left over cancer cells are doing. We’ve got fingers crossed they’re dead as doornails. Jayden is still doing great physically and mentally, which we’re so very thankful for that!! Continued thanks for the support and prayers! 💛💛

This guy had scans a few weeks ago and has a neuro eye appt this next week to get us a baseline to start with for the road ahead which will give us the news of how treatment worked. Scans so far show no growth. Because the cancer cells that remained on his brain are microscopic, we won’t know if the treatment worked until some months out. But for now the great news is that they didn’t grow at all during treatment!! 🎉 His eyebrows and hair are slowly starting to grow back
And he’s thrilled to be back to school next week!! There’s so much to be thankful for in the progress he’s made but prayers are still very much needed!! We are so grateful for all the continued support and he will forever by my hero! ❤️

We’re a few weeks out from finishing chemo and scans are this next weekend to see how it’s gone! He’s feeling great, putting weight back on and we’re feeling hopeful! This guy will forever by my hero ❤️

Well the chemo journey has come to an end!!! He started this fight May 27, 2023 with a CT scan showing a baseball size tumor in his brain that started in his skull. He was diagnosed with cranial ewing sarcoma and the treatment began. Jayden had minimal side effects amd handled treatment like a champ! We will have scans in a couple weeks to get a baseline and then continue follow ups every few months to watch how things go. Thank you everyone for all your love, support and continued prayers!! ❤️

It’s Jayden’s last chemo admission!!!! He has 2 days of chemo left and then it’s a wrap! We are soooo excited and hopeful for clear scans and no cancer cells. Jayden has been quite the trooper and blown the doctors minds in how well his little body has handled the chemo and radiation. Scans are in a few weeks, we pray for being cancer free!! 🙌🏼💛

I wanna give and update and thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love and support. I never would have ever imagined we’d be going through something like we are and having a support system in person and virtual is so comforting. So thank you so so much again!! 🙏🏽❤️

The great news is, Jayden’s numbers more than doubled over night!!! He still was moving pretty slow and pretty weak so we still went a head with the regular blood transfusion. But platelates weren’t given since his body is doing the work and we don’t wanna cheat the system. We just finished the transfusion and he’s already feeling better so we get to head back home. Also good news was no fever which in the situation he was in, numbers wise, even still with it doubling, could have been very dangerous. So we’re very thankful for that!! Chemo is put off for a week while his body keeps making those white and red blood cells! ❤️ And then we’ll be back on track. He’s a fighter and won’t let this cancer win!!!

Update: Jayden didn’t make counts to start chemo this week. All his blood work is super low, plates are at an 8 😢 He’s been sleeping quite a bit the last couple days so it didn’t come as a complete surprise. So instead of starting a 5 day chemo admission in the morning, we’ll just be getting blood transfusions. We’re right near the end of this journey, just weeks away! Please keep my baby in your thoughts and prayers ❤️🙏🏽 thank you!!

Week 21! We’re on the downhill trek of this journey and we’re so excited! This week we’ve got two days of chemo so we’re being admitted. Nora our favorite CNA is here which makes things super fun! She’s a ball of energy and dotes on Jayden 🩵 we’re still on track for being done January 1, 2024 so that’s great!
With Ewing being such an aggressive type of cancer they will be doing an MRI every two weeks when done with chemo so we can keep a close eye on anything popping back up. As always we’re so thankful for the prayers and love given to us during this crazy ride, means so much to our little family! 🙌🏼🩵
