Meet Sitka Kathryn Hoover—a massage therapist who approaches bodywork as a journey inward.
Sitka's practice is a beautiful fusion of 20 years exploring healing modalities: Temple Style Lomi Lomi, Table Thai Massage, Myofascial Release, Swedish, Deep Tissue, breathwork, and mindfulness-based techniques.
What makes Sitka's work unique? Every session is approached with deep presence and attuned attention to the sensations of your body. She invites you to stay relaxed, connected to your breath, and anchored in present-moment awareness as you journey inward—body, mind, and spirit.
Sitka specializes in:
→ Temple Style Lomi Lomi (long, flowing Hawaiian massage using forearms and oil)
→ Table Thai (traction, passive stretching, compression for restricted movement)
→ Myofascial Release (gentle, mindful opening of fascia)
→ Integrative bodywork blending multiple modalities
→ Relief for shoulder, hip, arm, and leg tension
Her sessions can be deeply relaxing and restorative, or treatment-focused depending on what your body needs. The intention is always the same: to invite stillness, unwind tension, and expand into serenity.
Trained at the Ashland Institute of Massage and continuously exploring healing arts, Sitka also brings the spirit of her work as a DJ for Portland's Fernhill Ecstatic Dance community—understanding rhythm, flow, and the power of presence.
If you're seeking massage that feels like a sacred journey rather than just a treatment, Sitka's integrative approach offers exactly that.
Welcome to stillness. Welcome to release. Welcome home to your body.
