Indigenous culture is a way of being - with your whole being. It is about honoring before receiving. It is about giving back, with love and spirit, and being grateful to the home that holds us all. This kind of harmony has often been forgotten along the way with the colonization of our lands. Never forget Mother Earth, the spirit, of where we all come from.
We want to encourage you to take a moment to witness your interconnectedness today, to notice how your energy impacts your community and the nature that surrounds you. To consciously take only what you need, and to responsibly recycle what has come and gone in your own two hands. Mother Earth gives and provides, it is only fair we honor her today.
