“Healing starts with curiosity. Instead of asking, ‘How do I make this tension stop?’ ask, ‘What is my body trying to tell me?’”
This quote deeply reflects my own healing journey. For years, I approached my body as something that needed to be fixed. Something that was betraying me through chronic pain, tension, fatigue, and symptoms I couldn’t always explain. I wanted the discomfort to disappear. I wanted my body to stop sending signals that felt overwhelming and disruptive.
Through my own healing, I began to understand that my body was not working against me. It was actually communicating with me. The pain, tension, and protective patterns I carried were not weaknesses; they were adaptations. They were my nervous system’s way of trying to keep me safe after experiences that had been too much to process.
The shift happened when I stopped asking, “How do I get rid of this?” and started asking, “What is this trying to show me?” I became curious about my sensations instead of afraid of them. I learned to listen to my body with compassion instead of judgment.
That curiosity opened the door to a deeper relationship with myself. I began noticing where I held stress, where I needed boundaries, where I needed rest, and where my body was asking to be supported rather than pushed. Healing became less about forcing change and more about creating safety, connection, and trust within myself.
My journey taught me that the body is not the enemy. It is a messenger. When we learn to listen, we can begin to understand the stories it has been carrying and create space for healing, regulation, and transformation.
Now I have the honor of supporting others as they build a deeper relationship with their own bodies and healing. I’m grateful for this journey and for the community that trusts me to hold space for their own transformation journey.
