Black Lives Matter.
We Licensed Massage Therapists are invested in the process of healing; for our selves, our fellow humans, and the greater world by extension.

One of my teachers said, ‘All pain exists on the spectrum of trauma and the antidote for trauma is safety.’

In massage we provide this safety with physical technique and presence. Nervous system to nervous system, we can share direct templates for how to feel safe in your body during a session.

Practicing feeling relaxed and calm around sore or injured soft tissue deepens that well of safety that we draw upon in life; the resilience to feel present and safe through the tender and painful times.

Humanity as an organism is injured. Humanity is learning to be more present and conscious of its pain.

One way to be present as we align resources and energy to healing is to speak some of the names: Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Elijah McClain, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade, Dion Johnson....

The abuse and suffering of black lives is the suffering of Humankind.

We say that Black Lives Matter to be present with this pain, and hope to grow safety and resilience in this world by being ever more conscious of the suffering of those around us; especially those parts of humanity that have been suppressed or ignored.

‘We can not suppress and heal at the same time.’

BLACK LIVES MATTER

Dear WOTB community,

We are thrilled to announce that we are beginning the reopening process!
