I am a certified trauma informed nervous system coach and herbalist. I teach people how to heal their nervous system and self regulate so that anxiety is no longer the running voice in their life. The nervous system is the motherboard to the body. Anxiety is the body's natural response to stress and danger. Learning how to see regulate helps you to feel safe in your body and determine the differen

ce between actual present danger and something that feels similar to a danger in the past. Life experiences and extended periods of trauma and stress can take is outside of our "window of tolerance" and we are no longer able to self regulate. I teach you how to do this through evidence-base dead trauma informed modalities, herbalism, mindfulness, etc so you can feel in control of and safe in your own body. Btw I haven’t even seen this season, I know everything I do from social media because it is all over, but sure remind me how much more important your season finale is than people who have actually been lost to this epidemic.

We also have to ask ourselves who denying and belittling our struggles benefits. Who does it benefit for us to not be honest about where we’re at and how we’re feeling and what we’re going through. That’s not to say that we have to share it with the world, but even not sharing it with the closest people in our lives, shows the cycle of feeling like and being too much when we are struggling.

Jk it can and does but I truly dance every day and throughout the day. If you ask the people around me they will tell you I am always dancing.

If anyone else has been having an extra struggle with their mental health lately, you’re not alone and though dancing doesn’t “fix” everything it helps us to connect, regulate and experience joy 💖

No Sharon, I am who I am today in spite of everything I have been through. I am who I am because I have fought like hell to not allow the trauma to make me like the people who traumatized me. It didn’t make me who I am today, it traumatized the fck out of me. Thank god for therapy, healing and the people in my life who are my support system and community.
