This adaptation on half splits is a great way to stretch your hips and make space in the lower back- it stretches the IT band and also trains stabilizing muscles in the supporting glutes and shoulders.
Grab some blocks “to make your arms longer” and don’t be shy about padding up your supporting knee if it’s unhappy about a hard floor.
