Seasonal allergies are the worst. My son struggled so much with congestion, sneezing and itchy eyes. Ugh!

• Oats – rich in beta-glucan fiber to support digestion and feed beneficial gut bacteria

• Vegan cashew + coconut yogurt – probiotics to support a balanced microbiome and improve gut health

Make this your own with your favorite fruit!

🧇 Waffle:

3 eggs (or flax seed egg replacement)
1/4 cup avocado oil (or apple sauce)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup dairy free milk ( I make my own cashew/oat milk)
3/4 cup almond flour
1/3 cup tapioca flour
2/3 cup oat flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt

Whisk all ingredients together, let them sit for 30 mins so the oats can “plump”.

🥥 Cashew + coconut yogurt:

To be honest, I usually cheat on this and just get either Cocojune or Culina coconut yogurt and add homemade cashew cream.

1 cup cashews (soak in hot water for 20 mins, then drain)
2 medjool dates
1 cup coconut yogurt
Filtered water (enough to create desired consistency, start with 1/3 cup)

Blend all ingredients in a blender. Refrigerate for 2 hours, ideally overnight.

How: ½–1 tsp dried root per 8 oz hot water; steep 10–15 min.



2. 🧡 Turmeric (Curcuma longa)

Why: Soothing and anti-inflammatory; supports comfort and may help with systemic inflammation.
How: 1 tsp dried turmeric + pinch of black pepper per cup; steep 10 min.



3. 🌼 Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)

Why: Calming for stress, anxiety, and sleep — nervous system grounding is especially important during cancer care.
How: 1–2 tsp per cup; steep 5–7 min.



4. 🌿 Peppermint (Mentha × piperita)

Why: Eases bloating, gas, and queasiness; also refreshing for appetite.
