Every summer, I notice the same thing.

People who have been holding it together for months… sometimes years… finally reach out.

Not because they’re ready to file tomorrow.

Not because they’ve made every decision.

But because something inside them quietly says,

“I can’t keep living like this.”

They lead companies.

Raise families.

Take care of everyone else.

On paper, their life looks perfect.

Behind closed doors, it feels anything but.

They’re trying to make sense of years of coercive control, high-conflict dynamics, and wondering how they became someone who questions themselves so much.

So they wait.

Until after vacation.

Until work slows down.

Until the kids go back to school.

Until fall.

And honestly, for many people, that’s exactly the right time.

The only challenge is…

Fall is also the busiest time of year for my practice.

One thing I’ve learned after doing this work for years…

When someone reaches the point where they’re ready, I want to be able to meet them there.

I never like telling someone my next opening is weeks away. Or that my practice is full but I can add them to my waitlist.

That’s one of the reasons I’m opening a small number of Fall Boutique and Concierge Coaching enrollments now.

If you’d like to reserve your place, your space will be secured for you with your deposit.

If you’ve been thinking,

“Maybe after summer…”

I’d love to help you get there feeling a little more prepared and a lot less alone.

🤍 Lisa

If you’ve been carrying this by yourself…

I’m here to help you carry it for a while.

Our first call is a chance for me to understand what’s been happening, answer your questions, and help you sort through the overwhelm.

You don’t have to know what you’re going to do.

You don’t have to be ready to leave.

You don’t have to have it all figured out.

We can figure it out together. 🤍

Five years sounds like a long time.

Until you realize you’ve already been waiting five years.

Sometimes we keep hoping things will get better.
Sometimes they do.
But sometimes the hardest question isn’t, “Should I leave?”

It’s asking yourself if you’d be okay living exactly like this five years from now.

Only you know the answer. 🤍

How can someone so successful feel so stuck?
You make big decisions every day.
People count on you.
You lead teams, solve problems, juggle a career, a family, and somehow keep everything moving.

Then you go home…
…and you find yourself replaying conversations, wondering if you said the wrong thing.
Walking on eggshells in your own house.
Questioning your own instincts.

Thinking,
“How did my life end up here?”
It’s confusing.
It’s lonely.
And a lot of high-achieving people feel embarrassed that this is what they live with everyday.

Embarrassed that someone who has accomplished so much can feel so lost behind closed doors.

The truth is, that’s what coercive control does.
It doesn’t happen overnight.
It slowly chips away at your confidence until you stop trusting yourself.

You don’t have to have your entire future figured out today.
You don’t even have to know if you’re staying or leaving.
You just need somewhere safe to start.

One conversation.

One plan.

One next step.

That’s enough for today. 🤍 If this feels like your life, you don’t have to sort through it alone.
Sometimes one conversation is enough to help you breathe again.

When you’re in it…

it feels like this is all there is.

The sleepless nights.

The overthinking.

The panic.

The second-guessing.

Wondering if you’re making the biggest mistake of your life.

Wondering if you’ll ever feel like yourself again.

If you’ve been in a narcissistic or coercively controlling relationship, your world gets smaller over time.

You stop trusting yourself.

You stop believing life can feel peaceful again.

But here’s what I wish every person sitting in that place knew…

The path doesn’t always look clear from where you’re standing.

Sometimes you can only see a tiny glimpse of what’s waiting ahead.

Keep walking anyway.

I’ve walked beside hundreds of people through this.

And every single one who kept going eventually looked back and said some version of the same thing…

“I didn’t know life could feel this peaceful.”

I know it’s hard to believe when you’re in the middle of it.

But I promise…

there is more waiting for you than what you’re leaving behind. 🤍

When you’ve been in a narcissistic or coercively controlling relationship, the hardest decision isn’t always whether to stay or leave.

It’s wondering if you can trust yourself enough to make the decision at all.

You’ve spent years being told you’re overreacting.
Too sensitive.
Remembering it wrong.
Making a big deal out of nothing.

After a while, you stop trusting your own instincts.

So you go back and forth.

Not because you’re weak.

Not because you’re indecisive.

Because you’ve been conditioned to question your own reality.

The beautiful part?

I’ve watched hundreds of people slowly find themselves again.

One decision.
One boundary.
One deep breath at a time.

And one day, almost all of them tell me the same thing…

“I wish I had trusted myself sooner.” 🤍

How much of yourself have you given up trying to keep the peace?

Your voice.

Your needs.

Your opinions.

Your joy.

And was it ever really peace if it cost you that much? 🤍

The signatures.

The relief.

The giant exhale that happens when something you’ve been carrying for years is finally done.

One of the biggest lessons from this case? ✔️

The right attorney matters.

A lot.

Nearly $80,000 was billed by prior counsel.

Endless stress.
Constant frustration.
A nervous system that was completely taxed.

ZERO progress was made and countless mistakes and significant errors were made

Then…

New counsel stepped in, created a clear strategy, cleaned things up, and resolved the case in just a matter of a few months.

At nearly twice the hourly rate.

A higher hourly rate does not always mean a more expensive divorce.

Sometimes it means the exact opposite.

This case was resolved professionally, compassionately, and for roughly a third of the total fees billed by prior counsel.

Higher hourly rate.
Lower overall legal fees.

And even more importantly…

Far less emotional cost.

The right attorney can save you time, money, stress, and years of unnecessary suffering.

People think divorce is about paperwork, court dates, and legal filings.

It isn’t.

It’s about helping people move forward with their lives.

This day, I got to watch someone walk out lighter, happier, and ready for a new chapter.

Please Choose You Family Law attorney carefully!! You future and your nervous system depend on it 🤍 Thank you Foundations Family Law & Mediation Center Jolee Vacchi for saving this case and saving one of my favorite humans from that giant disaster!!!

The best part of my job isn’t strategy.

It’s watching someone go from feeling completely alone to realizing they don’t have to do this by themselves anymore. 🤍

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t letting go.
It’s letting go of the hope that one day they’ll change.

The hope that they’ll finally understand.
Finally take accountability.
Finally become the person you’ve been waiting for.

Sometimes healing begins when you stop waiting. 🤍
