We are happy to welcome Emily Spencer back to Roots this September! 🌺🌟💓

Emily was out on maternity leave this summer and returns on September 9th to see pelvic health clients again. She is available on Wednesday mornings and Thursday evenings.

Emily Spencer, PT, MPT, PRFS, RYT, is a Pelvic Physical Therapist with over 18 years of experience. She has advanced training in pelvic pain, endometriosis, and bladder pain syndrome, and is experienced in working with both men and women.

As the region’s first certified Pelvic Rehab Fertility Specialist, she has additional training in reproductive endocrinology, menstrual cycle tracking, and visceral mobilization to optimize fertility.

She provides compassionate, whole-body care grounded in both science and clinical experience. We are so happy to welcome her back to the Roots Team!

Please join us in welcoming Roots newest Pelvic Health Therapist, Dr. Erin Johnas! 🌟🌺😀

Erin Johnas PT, DPT, earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University and has specialized in pelvic health since the beginning of her career.

As a committed lifelong learner, she has completed extensive training—from complex pelvic pain conditions like interstitial cystitis and pudendal neuralgia to movement-based approaches such as strength training, yoga, and return-to-running programs, as well as pregnancy and postpartum care.

She has a particular love for biomechanics and the integration of the body as a dynamic, breathing, and connected system.

Her broad clinical background allows her to support each patient through a holistic, individualized lens—meeting them with both compassion and expertise.

We are excited to have her on our integrative team! She is seeing clients on Wednesdays through the summer. You can easily book online or call us to learn more.
