You don't have to wait until you're in crisis to ask for support. The educators, nurses, and professionals I work with usually reach out when things are "fine, just heavy," not falling apart. That's exactly the right time. Book a πŸ†“ Alignment & Action Call this weekend and start the school year with a plan instead of just surviving it. πŸ”— in bio.

If you're already feeling a dip in your energy, an Alignment & Action Call is a πŸ†“ 30-minute conversation to name what's actually draining you and leave with one real next step, no pressure, no pitch you don't want. πŸ”— in bio to book.

We talk a lot about resilience in education. Your ability to bounce back, to handle more, to power through the hard thing and keep going.

Resilience is real. You probably have a lot of it.

But here's what nobody says: you can be incredibly resilient and still be destroying yourself in the process.

There's a difference between resilience (your ability to bounce back) and sustainability (whether you can keep going without bouncing back from crisis to crisis). And we've built entire systems around expecting you to have the first one while ignoring whether you have the second.

The problem is that resilience can be a trap. It lets you survive one more year without actually addressing what's making it unsustainable. You get really good at handling it, and then you just... keep handling it. For 15 years, in my case.

What if this year, instead of relying on resilience to get through, you actually built something sustainable?

That's the work I do with people. Not making you tougher or more resilient, actually changing the structure so you don't need to be.

It starts by getting clear on what's actually draining your energy and what would need to shift so you're not constantly recovering from your job. That's what my πŸ†“ Alignment and Action Call comes in. Comment "READY," and I'll get you on my calendar. πŸ—“οΈ

You have one more weekend before the real grind starts.

By Monday, routines will be locked in, everyone will be back in their rhythm, and the year will have its own momentum. This weekend is the last real pause you get for a while.

Here's what I've noticed: the people who are actually going to have a different kind of year aren't the ones white-knuckling through September wishing things were different. They're the ones who used moments like this, this weekend right here, to get clear on what they actually need and set it up before the school year gets loud.

An Alignment and Action Call is exactly that. Just you and me. We don't fix anything or pretend there's a quick solution. We just get real about what's been weighing on you and what it would actually take to show up differently this year.

The people booking these right now are the ones who are done repeating last year.

DM me "SESSION" if you want to grab a spot before we're all swallowed up by September. I have a few more openings this month. πŸ—“πŸ’™

It's one week in for a lot of teachers, and I'm guessing you're already tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix.

The first week back always feels like a sprint: new routines, new students (or new clients, new projects, new seasons of whatever you do), everything feels urgent and unfamiliar at the same time. By Friday you're running on fumes and whatever caffeine you can catch.

Here's what I learned after 15 years in education, and what I see with my clients now: the burnout you're feeling this week isn't a character flaw. It's a signal.

That signal is telling you something needs to be different this year than it was last year. Not someday in spring when you're already broken down, but now, while you still have the clarity and energy to actually change something.

Burnout prevention doesn't start when you hit rock bottom. It starts by getting honest about where your energy is actually going before the year runs you into the ground.

I built a free Wellness Energy Audit for exactly this moment: 10 minutes, no fluff. It shows you the real places where your energy is leaking, so you can plug them before September turns into a repeat of last year.

Type "AUDIT" and I'll send it your way. This week is when it matters most.

Teachers, you have a short amount of time before the grind begins again.

How do you want to walk into your new school year?

For a lot of teachers, syllabi are printed, room decorations are up, and the countdown to the first bell has started. This is usually the week I hear from teachers who are already exhausted and school hasn't even started yet.

Here's the thing nobody tells you in August: the burnout you're bracing for isn't inevitable. It's not a personality flaw, and it's not just "part of the job." It's a pattern and patterns can be interrupted before they set in, not just managed once you're already underwater.

I spent 15 years in education before I became a coach. I know the difference between white knuckling through a school year and actually choosing how you show up in it. That difference doesn't happen by accident. It happens because someone got clear on where their energy was actually going before the year swallowed them whole.

This year doesn't have to be a repeat of last year.

I put together a free Wellness Energy Audit, 10 minutes, no fluff, that shows you exactly where your energy is leaking right now, while there's still time to do something about it before the first bell rings. Comment "AUDIT" and I'll send it your way.

Before you head back into your building, depleted again, let's talk about what a session with me is like. It is one hour. Just you and me. No judgment, no "fixing" you like you're broken. Just space to finally exhale and figure out what YOU need.

DM me "SESSION" and let's see if coaching is a good fit for you.

I spent 15 years in the classroom before I became a health and wellness coach. That means when a teacher tells me they're "fine," I know exactly what that word is hiding.

My free Wellness Energy Audit isn't a quiz; it's 10 minutes that show you exactly where your energy is leaking before the school year does it for you.

Drop AUDIT to take the quiz today.
