I’m so excited to be adding BioRePeelCl3®️ to my treatment menu!

Because great waxing results aren’t only about removing the hair, we also need to think about the health and appearance of the skin underneath.

This treatment was specifically designed by BioSkin Aesthetics Inc and partnered with Bombshell Wax Company with post-wax skin in mind, and gives us another way to address some of the concerns I see most often with my waxing clients. These include hyperpigmentation and uneven skin tone, rough texture, ingrown hairs and follicular congestion, dullness, and discoloration caused by irritation or repeated hair removal.

What I especially love is that it provides controlled skin renewal for delicate areas without downtime or disrupting your regular waxing routine. With consistent treatments, we can work toward improving the overall look, feel, tone, and clarity of the skin. 🖤

One question I get from other estheticians (and clients) all the time is: “Why don’t you offer touch-up appointments after a Brazilian wax?”

It might seem like a great way to catch a few missed hairs, but there’s actually a much bigger reason behind my decision, and it all comes down to respecting the hair growth cycle.

In this video, I’m breaking down why I don’t schedule touch-ups, how this approach helps create more consistent long-term results, and why it’s become a standard in the way I perform Brazilian waxes.

If you’ve ever been nervous before a Brazilian wax, I promise you’re not alone.

A lot of clients come in worried about being judged, feeling embarrassed, or overthinking every little thing.

Meanwhile, I’m probably wondering what I’m making for dinner, if my dogs are getting along with the cat, or what my next coffee order is going to be. 😂

The truth is, my studio is a completely judgment-free zone. My job isn’t to critique your body, it’s to help you feel comfortable, cared for, and confident from the moment you walk in until you leave.

Whether it’s your first Brazilian or your 50th, my goal is always the same: make the experience as relaxing, professional, and comfortable as possible while giving you the best results I can.

Placing wax correctly is important because it ensures the hair is pulled cleanly from the root instead of breaking.

Proper placement also prevents skin irritation, reduces pain, and ensures the wax removes smoothly without leaving a sticky mess.

Sidenote: who else talks with their hands this much? 😂

One of the key aspects of placing wax is getting a good TAB.

This pull tab is a slightly thicker edge at the end of the wax strip and gives you a good spot to grab when you go to pull.

Why is my client still getting ingrown hairs after I wax her?

There is a common myth in waxing that just because you wax means you won’t get ingrowns, but this is wildly inaccurate 😒

For clients, there is specific aftercare to follow and day-to-day considerations to be aware of to avoid ingrown hairs, especially in those more sensitive areas.

As a waxer, it is your responsibility to inform and educate your clients, and try to carry products in studio that they can purchase that day versus sending them to big box stores.
