The Sports Motion team was busy this past weekend!

Our Athletic Trainers spent it on the ground at CrossFit Alpha Pack's Dawg Days of Summer.

These are the same trainers you'll find on the sidelines at our local schools during the week and working alongside our orthopedic physicians. Wherever athletes compete, we're there.

Annual SOMC Sports Motion Emergency Action Plan Meeting! 🏈⚽️

Bringing our athletic directors and coaches together for hands-on training in spine boarding, concussion management, heat illness, and emergency action planning. Preparing for emergencies before they happen is one of the most important things we can do to keep our student-athletes safe.

The Sports Motion team recently participated in the annual SOMC golf tournament at the Elks Country Club. Proceeds from the event support the Community Health & Wellness Fund, which plays a vital role in helping our community in a variety of ways.

This year, the Athletic Training team will utilize these funds to obtain additional certifications. These certifications will enhance their ability to deliver an even higher level of care to our community and to the local athletes we serve.

Student-athletes must have the OHSAA/KHSAA Pre-Participation Physical Exam Form completed and in hand at the time of their visit.
It is the student-athlete’s responsibility to submit the completed form to their school’s administration.
