At EOMC Infusion Clinic, we provide specialized care close to home for patients living with POLYCYTHEMIA.

Polycythemia is a condition where the body produces too many red blood cells, causing the blood to become thicker than normal. This can increase the risk of blood clots, stroke, or heart complications.

Common causes include:
• Polycythemia vera (a bone marrow disorder)
• Chronic low oxygen levels (such as from lung disease or smoking)
• Certain kidney conditions or tumors
• Anabolic Steroids
• Testosterone use

Treatment focuses on lowering red blood cell levels and reducing clot risk. This may include:
• Therapeutic phlebotomy (removing blood to reduce thickness)
• IV hydration
• Ongoing lab monitoring

Our experienced team works closely with your provider to deliver safe, effective infusion services — without the need to travel far from home.

Precision Care for Blood Balance. Close to home. Right here at EOMC.
Talk with your provider for a referral and call 918-721-0430.

🌟Eastern Oklahoma Medical Center is proud to recognize Tiffany Nobles as this month’s Clinic Employee of the Month! 🌟

In just four months, Tiffany has made an incredible impact through her positive attitude, servant’s heart, and dedication to excellence. As a food service worker, she brings warmth and compassion to everyone she encounters—making both patients and coworkers feel valued and appreciated.

A proud Poteau resident, Tiffany’s commitment extends beyond the workplace into her church and community. Supported by her EOMC family, including her biggest cheerleader, Amy Cagle in Medical Records, Tiffany continues to inspire those around her every day.

Tiffany’s drive to grow professionally and continue advancing within the dietary field speaks volumes about her character and ambition. We are grateful for the kindness, energy, and excellence she brings to EOMC each day.

Congratulations, Tiffany, on being named Employee of the Month! 🎉
