🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 LABOR DAY CLOSURE REMINDER ❤️🤍💙 🇺🇸

Just a friendly reminder to all of our wonderful patients that Morgan Family Medical Clinic will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

We are also still closed on Fridays for the time being.

If you need anything from our office before the long holiday weekend, please plan ahead and contact us before we close on Wednesday, September 2nd.

💊 Need a medication refill? Please have your pharmacy send us a refill request so we can get it taken care of before the holiday!

📚✏️ SCHOOLS ARE BACK — LET’S STOP THE SPREAD! 🦠

Backpacks are packed, school buses are rolling, and unfortunately… so are the GERMS! 😷😂

As we head back into another school year, let’s do our part to keep our kids, teachers, families, and communities healthy:

🧼 Wash those hands — often and for at least 20 seconds!
🤧 Cover coughs and sneezes — preferably with your elbow, not your hands.
🏠 Keep sick kids home when they have a fever or are too sick to participate in normal activities.
💧 Don’t share drinks, food, utensils, or personal items.
🧴 Clean frequently touched surfaces — phones, tablets, doorknobs, backpacks, and desks can harbor germs.
😷 Consider masking if you’re sick or around someone who is especially vulnerable.
🩺 Don’t ignore symptoms — early evaluation can sometimes prevent a small illness from becoming a bigger one.

And remember: You don’t have to catch every bug that comes through the classroom! 😂

Let’s keep our schools, homes, and community as healthy as possible this year. 💜

❤️ Clinic Update

We will remain CLOSED on Fridays until I am fully recovered and the clinic is back to being 100% functioning.

Madison and Julia will continue to be available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the clinic closed for lunch from 12:00–1:30 PM.

If you have questions, concerns, or healthcare needs during this time, please call the clinic at 918-721-0016. We will continue to triage patients as calls come in based on their individual needs.

🚨 If you have an emergency or need immediate medical assistance, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

We kindly ask that you refrain from calling or texting our personal cell phones during this time. Please use the clinic number so that Madison and Julia can appropriately assist you and make sure your needs are addressed and met.

💜 Personal Update, As Promised 💜

I am finally home. 🏡

I have a rare type of blood infection, but thankfully, so far, it has not affected my new mechanical parts in any way. I will be on IV antibiotics for an extended period of time, so I still have a long road ahead of me.

With school starting back, I want to reassure everyone that if you happen to see me out and about, I will keep my distance, send lots of air hugs, and most likely be wearing a mask. 💜

I am not contagious, but because of everything my body has been through, I absolutely cannot afford to get sick right now. I have to be very careful and protect myself while I continue to heal. I need specific prayers for this please!

I miss being in the clinic and all my peoples more than I can put into words! 🥹💜 I miss my patients, my staff, and just being there doing what I love.

I cannot wait until I am strong enough to get back in the office and see all of your beautiful faces again!

Thank you for all the love, prayers, meals, messages, and support. It truly means the world to me. 💜 to my drivers and daily help! You guys are heaven sent! I can not thank you all enough!

Reminder: Morgan Family Medical Clinic is closed on Fridays in July. I am available via phone if something should come up. Follow the prompts on the clinic phone line to reach me.

👉🏼As many of you know, I will be taking a short-term medical leave as I recover from surgery. While I won’t be seeing patients in person during this time, I want to reassure everyone that Morgan Family Medical Clinic has a plan in place to ensure you continue receiving the care you need.
Maddison and Julia will continue to be in the clinic during normal business hours to answer phones, assist patients, and triage your needs. They will be working closely with Tabitha Young, DNP, PMHNP, APRN, who will oversee patient care during my absence.
If you need to be evaluated or treated while I am away, Tabitha Young, DNP, PMHNP, APRN at Poteau Community Care will be accepting patients. Poteau Community Care is conveniently located in the same shopping plaza, just two doors down from Morgan Family Medical Clinic, making your transition of care as seamless as possible.
