I recreated my 2024 Simply Lavender Aromatherapy spray for a customer today. This was my original blend for lavender lovers, including high altitude Lavender, Lavendin, Lavender CO2, Lavender Absolute, and Seville Lavender. I will sometimes add Maillette Lavender to my blends as well, but I am currently all out.

The combination of these species and different types of distillation creates a complex, herbaceous-floral scent that is more true to lavender buds then standard Lavender essential oil on its own.

I also included a beautiful Lavender Hydrosol, the aromatic waters that remain when lavender buds are distilled into essential oil.

Oddly enough, Iā€™ve had several requests for lavender-only products lately, so Iā€™m also making this spray in the perfume bottle size. Although it has all the aromatherapy benefits of natural lavender essential oil, the aroma is interesting enough to make a nice eau de toilette. It can also be used on fabric or sprayed in the air to invite a sense of peacefulness and calm (I often do this with my natural perfumes).

Did you know we can do refills of some products? Bring in your empty foaming hand soap container and we can refill it with the same blend or one of your choice at a discounted price.

Foaming hand soap containers cost about $2 each and can be refilled several times before the pump wears out.

Save some money and bring me your used containers for refill! Even if they were not originally purchased from me.

More wickless candles in fabulous fall scents! These are in a coconut-soy wax blend.

Fall Festival is warm, buttery, and just like a cozy sweater in the way it wraps you up in its aroma. It includes a Kambaba Jasper crystal, Tigers Eye crystal, and green Jasper & green rutilated Quartz chips. This combination of gemstones has a very earthy, grounding, heart-centered, and growth-oriented energy, which is also empowering and confidence- supporting due to the Tigerā€™s Eye. This blend of crystals taps into the root, heart, and solar plexus chakras.

Vanilla Harvest Apple is redolent of Apples, Cinnamon, and vanilla, reminding me of yummy baked holiday deserts and cinnamon candy apples. It includes a Petrified Wood Crystal and several different kinds of gemstone chips: flower agate, yellow agate, sunstone, and yellow aventurine. This combination has a warm, earthy, uplifting, and transformational energy that is sunny, creative, optimistic, and forward-moving. It is supportive of the root, sacral and solar plexus chakra.

Sugar Plum has been added to our perfume spray line! This eau de toilette includes a blend of both essential and fragrance oils, carefully crafted to bring to mind sweet, fruity delights with a touch of musk and rose. Even though itā€™s a ā€œdessertā€ scent, it is complex enough to function as a perfume.

This was one of my most popular scents during its debut last yearā€¦ we also have it available in wickless and standard candles.

New wickless candles!
Because these will not be burned with an open flame, I had the luxury of adding crystals for decoration to these. (Of course, youā€™ll want to remove the large crystal from the candle before use so you donā€™t have to fish it out of the melted wax.)

Velvet Rum & Ember is warm, sweet, woodsy and earthy. It uses Obsidian Sugar fragrance oil from Black Tie Barn, a brand that I have really come to love for their quality and beautiful scent blends. I included Tigerā€™s Eye, Rock Crystal, and Red Agate crystals in this. Itā€™s an empowering combination great for supporting the solar plexus chakra.

Sugar Plum is fruity, fun, and with a hint of musk keeping it from being too effervescentā€¦ it has a complex character that has made it a consistent seller for me, especially at the holidays, but even during the spring and summer months. Itā€™s a blend of essential and fragrance oils specifically formulated to be candle-safe. I included Clear Quartz, Fluorite, and Amazonite crystals in this candle. These crystals together support clarity, communication, emotional balance, and amplification.

Fluorite is thought to help organize and sharpen the mind, while amethyst brings a more intuitive and spiritual quality. Together, these support the third eye and crown Chakras. If you are seeking a calm, focused mind that allows you to tap into your psychic or creative self, this pairing creates a wonderful synergy.

To enhance the benefits of these crystals, a perfect essential oil pairing for the lava beads would be a blend of Frankincense, Clary Sage, and Lavender. This synergy supports quieting mental noise, grounding your energy, and creating an intuitive and reflective atmosphere. There are many different Frankincense species to choose from; while you could use whichever you prefer, I really like Sacra, as it is suited to meditation and spiritual work, and I like the bright, citrusy, resinous aroma paired with the other oils.

You asked, and we will deliver!
Today I had several college students at the Farmerā€™s Market request wickless candles due to their dorm room restrictions. Even if they donā€™t intend to burn the candle, apparently having a candle in your room can lead to a steep fine šŸ˜³

Wickless candles to the rescue! These can be gently warmed under a candle lamp or on a heat plate to release their aroma without any open flame. They are also wonderful for homes with pets or small children, where a tipped, lit, candle can be disastrous.

Iā€™ll have these ready to go by next weekend. Scents I have poured tonight include Obsidian Sugar (warm and inviting) and Sugar Plum (one of my all time favorites, and perfect for the swiftly approaching holiday season). šŸ’—

With the advent of back-to-school season, we are working hard to craft your seasonal wellness supports! Shower steamers are a great way to enjoy a spa-like aromatherapy experience before you begin your day.

Simply toss one on the floor of your shower, out of the direct flow of water, and allow the essential oils and menthol crystals to help you awaken and enjoy the cooling sensation! These steamers include essential oils that support a sensation of easy breathing and wakefulness. I will have several different blends available soon!
