Many EMDR therapists have a strong foundation in the model yet still encounter sessions that feel stuck, confusing, or more complex than expected.

These moments often require more than knowing what intervention to use next. They call for a deeper understanding of the nervous system, the therapeutic relationship, and how trauma is held in the body.

This consultation group is designed for EMDR therapists who want to integrate somatic and polyvagal-informed approaches while strengthening case conceptualization, clinical flexibility, and confidence in working with complex trauma.

My approach is collaborative, reflective, and practical. Together, we'll explore real cases, discuss clinical challenges, and better understand what may be happening when clients become overwhelmed, dissociate, shut down, or seem unable to move forward.

My work is informed by advanced training with Arielle Schwartz, PhD, and integrates EMDR, somatic therapies, attachment theory, polyvagal theory, mindfulness, and resilience-oriented approaches. I also bring a multicultural and multilingual perspective, offering consultation in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

If you’ve ever left an EMDR session thinking…

“I’m not sure what’s happening here.”
“This feels stuck, but I don’t know why.”
“I know the protocol… but something is missing.”

You’re not alone.

This consultation space is for EMDR therapists who want a deeper understanding of what’s happening in their sessions — especially when working with more complex or layered presentations.

We’ll slow things down and look at the nervous system in real time:
how dysregulation shows up, how to recognize it, and how to respond in a way that is more attuned, flexible, and effective.

This is not about doing EMDR “better” in a rigid way.
It’s about developing clarity, confidence, and clinical intuition.

✔ Small group (max 6) for depth and thoughtful discussion
✔ Meets on the third Monday of the month (5 months)
✔ Somatic and polyvagal-informed lens
✔ EMDRIA certification consultation hours available

If this speaks to where you are in your work, I’d love to connect.

Yesterday morning, I woke up at 4:40 a.m. And if you know me, you know—I am not a morning person. So it takes quite a bit of effort and motivation to get me out of bed that early. But the Aquarian Sadhana is one of those things. So you may ask —what is it? Good question.

It’s a specific Kundalini Yoga practice, done during the ambrosial hours (between 4:00–7:00 a.m.). It includes reciting Japji, movement, breathwork, and chanting specific mantras. It’s really a mind–body–spirit practice—working on multiple levels at the same time.

I went to my yoga studio and meditated for over 2 1/2 hours with 19 people. Practicing in a group… it’s different. There’s an amplification that happens. In this tradition, it is said that the effect isn’t just additive—it’s exponential.

So 19 people meditating together isn’t just 19 times the impact…
it’s at least 19 × 19 = 361. And honestly—you can feel it.

But what stayed with me the most was how I felt after. I felt clear. Open. Energized.
Like my whole system had been reset.

From a nervous system perspective, there’s emerging research suggesting that chanting meditation is a breath, sound- and vibration-based practice that calms the mind, reduces anxiety, improves brain function and emotional well-being and decrease inflammation through nervous system regulation at a neurobiological level.

But beyond the science… you feel it in your body.

The vibration.
The aliveness.
The sense that something has shifted from the inside out.

And this is one of the reasons I care so much about practicing in community.

✨ I offer a free online mantra meditation practice
🗓 Saturdays at 8:30 AM (PST)

You don’t have to wake up at 4:40 a.m. 😊
You just have to show up.

If you’ve been wanting a space to reset, regulate, and reconnect—you’re welcome to join us. Link in my bio.

If you’ve ever finished an EMDR session thinking…

“Why did that get stuck?”
“Something didn’t fully move…”
“I’m not sure what I’m missing…”

You’re not alone.

Many EMDR-trained therapists know the protocol —
but still encounter moments where the work feels unclear, flat, or blocked.

Often, what’s missing isn’t more technique.

It’s the ability to track what’s happening in the nervous system in real time.

This EMDR consultation group is designed to help you deepen your clinical work through a somatic and polyvagal-informed lens.

We focus on:

• Nervous system tracking during sessions
• Working with dissociation and protective responses
• Understanding why processing stalls
• Expanding clinical flexibility beyond rigid protocol use

This is not a training.
It’s a small, reflective consultation space (max 6 therapists) where you can think more deeply about your cases and your clinical decisions.

✔ Consultation hours toward EMDR International Association certification available
✔ EMDRIA-approved Consultant-in-Training
✔ Online | Starts May 2026

If you’re looking for consultation that supports both your growth and your clinical confidence, this is that space.

I’m finalizing a small HSV support group for women that begins tomorrow.

There are a few women already joining, and a couple of spots still open.

I know this can be a vulnerable step. For many women, the hardest part of HSV isn’t the physical symptoms—it’s the isolation, the stigma, and feeling like you have to carry it alone.

This group is a small, private space to talk openly, feel understood, and connect with others who truly get it.

If you’ve been considering it, you’re still very welcome.

You don’t have to go through this alone.

If this has felt heavy, isolating, or hard to talk about—you are not alone.

This is something I hear from women again and again.

I’m a therapist, and I’ve spent many years supporting women navigating the emotional impact of HSV (herpes).

I’m starting a small, private online group for women who want a space that feels safe, grounded, and real. A place where you don’t have to explain everything, and you don’t have to carry this by yourself.

This is not just about information. It’s about feeling understood, gently reducing shame, and reconnecting with yourself and others.

The group is intentionally small (max 8 women) to create trust and meaningful connection.

🗓 Starts March 31
