Did you know you have built-in stress relief buttons on your body?
Let me show you two of my favorites.
- PC6 (inner wrist): Three fingers down from your wrist crease, in the center. Press firmly and hold. This point calms the mind, eases nausea, and releases chest tension.
- CV17 (chest center): Center of your sternum, level with your heart. Hold gently. This one opens your breathing and brings you back to yourself. Hold either one for 1-2 minutes while breathing slowly.
I use these with clients in sessions and teach them as daily tools. You can do them anywhere -- in the bathroom, in your car, waiting for your coffee to brew.
Your body knows how to calm down and reset. Sometimes it just needs a little help finding the way. π
