I had a husband and wife book back-to-back massages today.

I asked the husband, “Do you have any problem areas, or do you know where you tend to hold your stress?”

Without missing a beat, he said:
“All my problems and stress are sitting on that couch.” 😂😂😂

I don’t offer couples massages at Hills Therapy, BUT couples can absolutely make a little self-care date out of it!

While one of you is getting a massage, the other can relax on our couch or book a facial with one of the amazing service providers here at Solitude Suites! then flip-flop!

Massage + facial + a spouse willing to publicly blame you for their stress… sounds like a date to me. 😂🤍

Meet Mycayla, inside our very own studio at Solitude. ✨️

This suite is owned by Amie Harpole, owner of Solitude Suites and a stylist with over 20 years in the beauty industry. After stepping away from behind the chair full-time, Amie created this space to keep a little piece of the salon life that she loves, while giving independent stylists a space to make their own.

Mycayla is an independent stylist and Texas native who now calls Louisiana home. 🤎

Mycayla loves creating custom and lived-in color, but she isn’t afraid to have a little fun with fashion colors too! Her goal is to create hair that feels personalized to you, your style, and your everyday life.

And she does more than hair! Mycayla also offers customized luxury spray tans, available right here in the studio or brought directly to you with mobile appointments.

One suite, two beauty services, and plenty of ways to leave feeling a little more like yourself.✨️

Our suites are occupied, but our community is growing. 🌱

When Solitude first opened, my goal was simple: create a beautiful place for independent professionals to grow their businesses while being someone in the industry who could encourage and support them.

Over the last nine months, that vision has evolved. Today, every suite is occupied, but what excites me most isn't that we're full, it's what we're becoming. Solitude is growing into a community built on beauty, wellness, connection, and collaboration. There is so much more to come!

Thank you to every professional, client, and supporter who has been part of this journey. This chapter may say "fully occupied," but I truly believe we're only getting started. ✨️
