🔴💜 **ANTI-YOGA YOGA: THE LAVENDER REFRIGERATOR EXORCISM** 😂
So I've been under some major stress lately. And I'm working on becoming a better observer of myself, especially when somebody else's emotional bombs start triggering my own s**t.
Here's the interesting part.
I noticed my energy sliding sideways **WHILE IT WAS HAPPENING.**
Not afterward. Not after I'd calmed down. Not after I'd fixed the issue or figured everything out.
**DURING.** 🔥
And I deliberately started doing things to bring myself back into alignment.
Which is how we ended up with me spraying lavender water on the white refrigerator shelves. 😂💜
Away with ya!
But here's the geeky little lesson in all of this.
🔴 **Root chakra activities are about meeting your fundamental needs.**
Food. Shelter. Safety. Love. Belonging. Acceptance. And having space to be YOU.
So cleaning your kitchen, nesting in your home, preparing nutritious food, and making your environment feel supportive can all be approached as root chakra practices.
Especially when you're doing them for **YOU YOU YOU!!!** ❤️
Not because somebody else needs you to. Not because you're supposed to. But because YOU deserve a clean, comfortable space and good, nourishing food.
And from a nervous-system perspective, deliberately choosing manageable, familiar activities can help redirect your attention and restore a sense of agency when stress is pulling you sideways.
The biggest discovery for me wasn't the lavender water.
It was recognizing that I didn't have to wait until I was calm to begin self-regulating.
I could notice the shift and start taking care of myself **right in the middle of the chaos.**
Sometimes grounding isn't a yoga pose or a meditation.
Sometimes it's cleaning your fu***ng refrigerator and making yourself a good dinner. 😂🥕💜
🔥 **Root chakra. Real life. Taking care of YOU.**
