It was about forgiving.

Dr. Susan Godman had to face things from her childhood that had been buried so deeply she did not know they were still there. And she had to find her way to complete forgiveness, not for anyone else's sake, but for her own healing.

What she discovered changed everything. Forgiveness at its deepest level is not about the other person at all. It is about remembering who you really are.
