Your scooter just got a few new options.

We just added a bunch of new scooter accessories to the showroom. We now have cargo trailers, pet trailers, multi-receiver hitches, safety flags, rear baskets, sun shades, and cane holders.

If you need to carry more stuff, bring your dog along, haul your groceries, take your cane with you, or get a little more shade on your ride, we've got some new options to check out.

His & hers adventure rigs...

These two Rascal Conquest 4-wheel scooters just landed at Comfort Mobility, and I think they look pretty sharp together.

If you're familiar with the Pride Victory 10, these are a very similar scooter. A little more substantial than a travel scooter, with 10" tires and a 350-lb weight capacity, and up to 16.9 miles of range, but at a lower price point. In fact, the Rascal Conquest is a little faster, has higher ground clearance, and greater range than the Victory 10.

The weather is finally starting to cool off in Arizona, and that means one thing around here: travel and mobility rentals are heating up.

You might be surprised what people call us for. Here are some that we have received recently:

A wheelchair that won't charge.
A scooter that needs new batteries.
A rollator with worn-out wheels and brakes that aren't working like they should.
A lift chair needed for 2 months while someone recovers from open heart surgery.
A hospital bed that needs to be delivered somewhere so far out in the middle of nowhere that we need to pack a lunch for the drive.
Someone who needs a vehicle lift solution to get their new mobility scooter in and out of their vehicle.
Someone who's shopping for a scooter and feels completely overwhelmed by all the choices and just wants to come in, sit on them, try them out, and talk to someone who knows what they're doing.

Mountain homes tend to come with beautiful views...and a few more stairs than the average house.

We just installed this one in Pine, and now our customer can get between the levels of their home safely and easily again.

And honestly, if your cabin is your summer escape, the last thing you want is your stairs keeping you from enjoying it.

Stay up in the mountains, enjoy the cool air. Skip the heat dome down in the valley.

Before you buy a piece of mobility equipment, think about what happens after you buy it.

Who are you going to call when it needs a repair?

Who's going to service it?

Who's going to help when something stops working?

At Comfort Mobility, we don't just sell the equipment. We install it, deliver it, maintain it and repair it.

Ever seen a wheelchair with a chain drive?

Neither had most of us until this one rolled into the shop.

We recently assembled this GRIT Freedom Chair for a customer, and it's one of the coolest pieces of mobility equipment we've had through the showroom. Instead of pushing on the wheels like a traditional wheelchair, it's powered by two hand levers connected to a chain drive. The result? It can tackle trails, gravel roads, grass, and terrain that would stop a standard wheelchair.

We love seeing products like this because they're a reminder that mobility equipment doesn't just help people get around the house. Sometimes it helps people get back outside and enjoy the places they love.

Meet one of the busiest scooters in Northern Arizona.

This is one of our Pride Go-Go Sport rental scooters, and over the past month it's been getting around more than most of us.

It's made multiple trips to the Grand Canyon, spent a day at Hoover Dam, explored Sedona, cruised around downtown Flagstaff during a family reunion, visited Cliff Castle Casino, wandered through Bearizona, and even made it to Petrified Forest National Park and Mesa Verde National Park.

One trip that stuck with me was a visitor staying at an Airbnb in Sedona. Each morning, he'd hop on the scooter, his golden retriever service dog would walk right alongside him, and they'd head into town together to explore. I thought that was pretty cool.

That's really what these scooters are for. They help people keep traveling, keep making memories, and keep doing the things they came here to do.

It's always fun to look back at where the week took us...

Over the past few days we picked up a mobility scooter rental and delivered a lift chair and hospital bed in Prescott, picked up another lift chair in Prescott Valley, delivered a mobility scooter rental to Williams, and took a hospital bed out to Winslow.

We also spent some time in Williamson Valley looking at a stair lift project and made a trip to Camp Verde to repair a vertical platform lift and get it back up and running.

No two weeks ever look the same around here. Every stop has a different story, but they all have the same goal: helping people stay mobile and independent.

Thanks to everyone who invited us into your homes and trusted us to help this week. We appreciate you.
