A devastating knee injury. Nine months of recovery. And a goal of playing Division I lacrosse.

Ava had worked incredibly hard toward that goal when a ruptured ACL, torn PCL and torn MCL suddenly put everything on hold.

Johngarret worked with Ava throughout the nine months following her injury, alongside her PTs and trainers, helping her prepare her body for the demands of returning to lacrosse.

She made it back for her senior season. At first, she played in a brace because it gave her confidence. Eventually, she didn’t need it anymore. Ava went on to play ten full games without the brace and saw real improvements in her speed and lateral mobility.

But our favorite part of what Ava shared with us was this:

“Most importantly, my confidence came all the way back.”

Today, Ava is at Davidson, where she’ll compete at the Division I level.

We’re incredibly proud of her and grateful that she trusted Johngarret to be one part of the team that helped her get there.

Most people have never heard of their T8 vertebra, but it’s one of the most important spots in your spine.

Located right between your shoulder blades, this is where your mid-back is supposed to naturally curve. When it gets stuck, everything above and below it suffers — neck tension, rounded shoulders, restricted breathing, and even lower back stress.

Your spine works as a system, and T8 is one of the key transition points that keeps everything moving the way it should.

Want to see why this one spot matters so much?

Comment “T8” and I’ll send you the next post in this series.
