It’s National Esthetician Day! I often get asked how I got into esthetics, so I thought I would make a video. ❤️
If I would’ve known 6 years ago a google search would change my life completely- I would’ve googled sooner. What started with me wanting to expand my knowledge on skincare ingredients turned into something more than I ever could’ve imagined.
I truly believe this career chose me. I’ve always struggled with social anxiety for as long as I can remember. Connecting with other people is just not something that has always come to me naturally. However, this career has helped me open up, trust myself, dream big, and discover just how much I have to give.
Somewhere along the way appointments became relationships and caring for your skin became an opportunity to care for you. My treatment room has seen tears from grief, laughter and celebration through happy seasons, vent sessions, and quiet moments when words weren’t needed. You trust me with your skin, but also pieces of your lives. I do not take the responsibility of being a safe place lightly.
Every time you choose me, come back, refer a friend, or share a little piece of your world with me; you remind me why I’m here. You’ve all helped me grow into a more confident woman, a better listener, and someone who understands just how meaningful it can be to make another person feel seen and confident.
Thank you all for trusting me and letting me care for you. This calling has given me so much, but getting to know each of you has been the greatest gift. 🧡
