June 9th 2026 various community participants, agencies, volunteers, and supporters came together—all united around one important goal: to bring wellness to the forefront.
The evening began with a Positive Affirmation Walk leading up to the entrance, where attendees were greeted by Soul Encounters and Teddy the mini horse. From there, guests were welcomed into the Community Connections Resource Room, where local organizations and agencies shared valuable information and resources.
The program continued with an outstanding keynote presentation by Deb Knupp, who set a powerful foundation for the rest of the evening. Attendees then had the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions focused on the Eight Dimensions of Wellness, allowing them to explore areas of personal growth and begin or continue their own wellness journeys.
During the dinner break, participants enjoyed Rossy’s Food Truck while continuing to build connections with fellow attendees and community agencies in the Community Connections Resource Room.
Watching this event come to fruition was truly inspiring. The care, compassion, enthusiasm, and commitment displayed by everyone involved in strengthening both personal wellness and the health of our community was something special.
Events like this do not happen without extensive planning, dedication, and hard work from many individuals and organizations. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude.
Thank you to our Community Connections agencies, keynote and breakout speakers, and Princeton High School for opening its doors to host this event. The school’s staff was instrumental in ensuring we had everything needed to make the evening a success.
A special thank you goes to the Arukah Worth interns and leadership team, who worked tirelessly on the day of the event—running from task to task, solving problems, and making sure every detail was in place. Their efforts were invaluable and played a significant role in the success of the evening (Including putting this event recap video together)
This event represents an important step toward strengthening our community and increasing overall well-being. Community connections are essential to wellness. When people feel connected and supported, positive outcomes follow. Strong community ties contribute to reduced su***de rates, increased resilience and protective factors, decreased substance use, and improved overall health and well-being.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible and to everyone who attended. Together, we are building a stronger, healthier, and more connected community.
