This is one of my favorite pictures I took in the past several months. I'm named it "Desert Rose". To me it signifies that one can be resilient in less than ideal surroundings. One can be beautiful among cactus thorns. One can shine in spite of the odds. Be your own version of the "Desert Rose" for yourself and those around you. We can be calm within the storms that life throws all of us because we know who we are, we know what we bring to every situation and we know that this too shall pass but we will forever be our own version of "the Rose".

Not to be outdone by spring flowers, Echinacea Perennials love to bloom mid summer. The butterflies love the flowers, the birds love the seeds and so many of us humans love the bouquets and the fact that, in medicinal form, the herb can support our immune system.

This lovely church from the 1890s was purchased and re-purposed as a crystal and mineral store called Crystal Connection in Wurtsboro, NY. It was my heaven on earth this past Saturday. My friend, Jasmine, and I were in awe and so appreciative of the church and the crystals and minerals within it. The energy from this sacred space and from Mother Earth crystals and minerals was powerful, radiant, majestic and transformative. What perfect synergy!
