Sometimes the smallest things carry the greatest light. This afternoon, as I walked the path to welcome a returning guest,
a soft purple/pink scrap of paper waited for me — torn, humble,
yet glowing with a child’s simple truth:
“I ❤️ you.”

Bailey, your little note found its way into the heart of the sanctuary
just the way kindness always does — quietly, gently,
like a whisper from the universe reminding us
that love doesn’t need grand gestures to be felt.
It only needs sincerity… and@sue a place to land.

Here at Jesse J Sanctuary, moments like this
are the threads that stitch our mission together —
the unexpected sweetness, the human connection,
the reminders that compassion shows up
in the smallest hands and the simplest words.

I haven’t posted much lately — not because the sanctuary isn’t full, but because our days have been overflowing with community outreach, guests, and family commitments.

Here is a photo of my much better (and much bigger) half — the heart behind why we built this sanctuary. We created it to honor Jesse and her two beautiful boys, and I know she would be so proud of what it has become. God knows we are.
