A recent visit brought smiles to the team at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Prosper. Former patient Ann Lilly, wife of Dallas Cowboys Hall of Famer Bob Lilly, returned to the hospital and shared an inspiring update on her recovery.

Ann came to Encompass Health following a stroke and quickly became known for her strength, grace and positive spirit. Her progress throughout rehabilitation inspired staff from admission through discharge. One year later, Ann returned with her husband and continues to do remarkably well. Seeing her continued progress serves as a powerful reminder of the lasting impact of rehabilitation.

Moments like these, when former patients return thriving and smiling, reflect why the work of rehabilitation is so meaningful. Thank you, Ann, for reminding us that recovery continues well beyond discharge.
