Year ✌🏼
I may sound like a broken record, but I never want to take for granted the beauty of this journey. The door that God opened, even though it was far from what I had pictured for my life.

This past year was a big one. An office space to assist even more moms. I had 514 consults this past year. That number blows me away. 🥹

So thank you, mamas. There’s a ton of really wonderful lactation consultants out there (most of them are my friends 💕) and I know you have an options for where you seek care. Thank you for the trust. The referrals. I vow I will continue to pour my heart + soul into each of your journeys.

Thank you Jesus for these families. May I always be your hands + feet in each and every consult. 🤍

Some things I heard today 👀
1. Positioning, correct latch techniques, and a few tricks can make a world of difference to latch baby comfortably! 🤱🏻
2. Correct flanges. Correct shape. Correct settings. More milk. Less time pumping. 🍼
3. Some times you just need someone to walk you through things and not feel like TikTok is your guide 🙈
4. Lactation care doesn’t stop past a certain age! Teething, back to work, change of schedules, pumping issues, introduction of solids, weaning, etc. If it involves lactation and or feeding (or no longer feeding) baby, I’m your girl. 🙋🏻‍♀️
5. &!6. That’s the goal. Every time. 💕

What’s better than a graduate on a Friday?? TWO GRADS 🎓🎓

Both of these sweet families came to me with vastly different situations:

- one with a baby who wouldn’t latch and pain with pumping
- one with a tongue + lip tie with a mom with history of low supply due to medical conditions

Both babies left the office today breastfeeding on demand, moving milk, with happy mamas 🥰

What a blessing to call this my job! 💛

Allllll the times I’ve had to tell moms they are lubricating their flanges in the wrong spot must be a milli🫠

Lubrication while not always necessary, sometimes can help moms with comfort and output. (Along with proper size + shape!)

Using this in the tunnel where the n*pple is helps it glide! (I’m gliding here! Anyone, anyone?? 🤣)

I am furious.
I am sad.
And somehow, not surprised. Insurance companies continue to cut coverage + care for families. The US refuses mothers paid leave, postpartum support, and fails to support them in the biggest transition of their life.

Yet another insurance company is cutting coverage for lactation starting September 1st.

If you are pregnant, or currently breastfeeding and want to ensure coverage, I have to have you registered prior to 9/1/26. I’ll let you know more as I know more. I’ll never stop fighting for you. I’ve sent letters to UHC, senators, and emails galore.

Fight with me, you + your baby deserve better.

Today’s grads 🎓👶🏻👶🏻

MollyinTexas reached out following a preterm NICU stay, difficulty pumping, and bottle feeding. 🍼

We worked alongside Dr. Collin & Kara Walding | Prenatal & Pediatric | 📍Prosper, TX to help their little bodies relax post twin delivery along with improving low oral tone + finding bottles that worked for them!

We worked through trouble shooting pumps, appropriate flanges, mastitis, and ni**le pain.
