I had the absolute pleasure of graduating this sweet family yesterday! 🎓💜

Monica Barrett is the sweetest, most dedicated mama and I am SOOO proud of her for reaching her goals!

Together with the support of her husband, we set up a care plan that helped them over come:
- ni**le pain/poor latch
- low supply
- slow/low weight gain for baby

She has gone from pumping “0.25 ml to 1 oz” to over 4 oz! Baby is breastfeeding on demand, following her growth curve, and receiving bottles of mom’s milk, no more donor milk or formula! 🥳

Monica, thank you for trusting me in your journey. Your family was such a joy + I’ll miss our weekly catch ups! 🤍

Today’s graduate 🎓😭

This journey is so near and dear to my heart. From the moment I met Carly Vanderford I knew what an incredible human she was. We bonded over Wyatt pooping on me, laughed, sang worship, and discovered the issues she was having with nursing. I’ll never forget the look on her face when I said “ok, so he’s not transferring any milk from the breast”. 😔

She worked SO hard on oral strengthening, stretches, weight gain, protecting supply, body work with Dr. Collin & Kara Walding | Prenatal & Pediatric | 📍Prosper, TX + finally an oral tie release from the wonderful team at Natural Smiles Pediatric Dentistry once we were ready.

And today, it all paid off. Wyatt is exclusively breastfeeding, holding steady on his curve, and moving milk like he never knew otherwise. 🥹🩵

Their case shows isn’t always an easy fix. There’s dedication, good days, and yes bad days too. I’m so proud of them for sticking with it and trusting me on this journey. 🫶🏼

Here’s the thing, those mom-fluencers have a different anatomy, different baby, and different situation than you. So, I’m super glad that Katie eats oatmeal creme pies all day + makes 8 gallons. But if you’re ready to figure out how to make more milk with a plan that’s made by an IBCLC evaluating both your + your babies bodies, health history, and needs… then I’m right here. 🤗🫶🏼😎

Graduated 16 lbs of pure cute-ness today! 🎓

Following a rockstar delivery, this sweet mom reached out with pain with latching, oversupply management, and concerns about her last feeding journey.

We worked together to manage block feeding, oral strengthening for this cute squish, alleviate tension, and made a plan that helps them both thrive even as she returns to work soon. (Clearly, baby love is at 99th percentile 🤣)

Such a JOY being a part of your journey 🫶🏼

•You’re sitting at home, nursing your baby and something just doesn’t feel *right*… you’ve heard it may be painful, maybe you should just keep going?

•Your alarm goes off and it’s time to pump again.. instant dread. It’s so uncomfortable. You’re not sure if your setting are correct. Maybe your output isn’t enough?

•You’re scrolling socials and see a million moms offering advice over topics: why you need a freezer stash, tongue ties, clogged ducts. And you’re not sure who to believe.

As a RN IBCLC, I come in with years of experience (both personal + professional) to help guide you to loving your breastfeeding or pumping journey. Pain, dread, and confusion shouldn’t be on that list. 🙂‍↔️

As soon of you know, I only work part time right now, soaking up the most days I can with my littles. Come fall, my youngest starts kinder (I’ll be crying non stop it’s fine) and I’ll be working full time 🤭

I’m spending this summer finishing the office space, making it as cozy + comfy for you!

Today I added in LWL stickers (feel free to grab one 🤗) and a coffee bar, because duh. And don’t worry iced girlies, the ice machine is in the kitchen.
