There are certain things my clients hear from me on repeat.
“Get your carbs in” is absolutely one of them. 😂
Because I see this disconnect all the time:
Women want to train hard. They want to get stronger. They want to build muscle. They want their glutes to grow. They want better performance and recovery.
But somewhere along the way, they learned that eating less—and especially eating fewer carbs—must always be better.
Then we pile more training on top. Maybe add some cardio for good measure. And wonder why training feels flat, recovery sucks, and the body isn't responding the way we want it to.
Carbohydrates aren't magic, and your needs are individual. But they are an important fuel source for training, particularly as intensity increases.
If we're asking your body to perform and adapt, we have to be willing to fuel that request.
Sometimes the answer isn't another restriction.
Sometimes I really do just need you to eat the damn carbs. 😂
Send this to the friend who's still scared of eating carbs.
