Your hair doesn’t have to look the way it did 10 years ago to be beautiful. 💙

As we get older, our hair changes. Texture can change. Density can change. Gray starts showing up. And sometimes the color, style, or routine we’ve always relied on just doesn’t work quite the same anymore.

And that’s okay.

The goal doesn’t have to be getting your “old hair” back.

It can simply be finding what works beautifully for your hair now—whether that means embracing more of your natural texture, changing your color, blending your gray, simplifying your routine, or choosing a style that’s easier to live with.

That’s what I love about working with women 45+.

Healthy. Natural-looking. Low-maintenance hair that works with your life—not against it.

💬 Has your hair changed as you’ve gotten older? What has been the biggest change for you?

Gray blending and gray coverage are not the same thing—and knowing the difference can make choosing your color plan a whole lot easier. 💙

Gray coverage is designed to cover most or all of your visible gray and create a more consistent color.

Gray blending works with some of your natural gray, using highlights, lowlights and dimension to create a softer transition as your hair grows.

Neither one is automatically better.

It really comes down to what you want your hair to look like, how you feel about seeing your natural gray, and how much maintenance fits your life.

As a hairstylist, my goal isn’t to tell you that you should cover your gray—or that you should embrace it.

My job is to help you understand your options and create a plan that works for your hair and your real life. 🌿

💬 Which sounds more like you right now—GRAY COVERAGE or GRAY BLENDING?

If you could change ONE thing about your hair right now, what would it be? 🌿

More volume?
Less frizz?
Easier styling?
Softer gray grow-out?
Or something completely different?

I love hearing what women are actually struggling with when it comes to their hair—because beautiful hair should work with your real life, not make it harder.

There’s a reason I don’t highlight every client the same way. 🌿

When I’m planning your color, I’m looking at the whole picture—your natural color, your gray, the condition of your hair, how bright you want to be, and something that matters just as much:

How much maintenance do you actually want?

Some women enjoy coming in regularly. Others would much rather stretch the time between appointments. Neither is wrong.

I want to create hair that fits your real life—not give you a color that suddenly dictates your schedule.

That’s a big part of what being a holistic hairstylist means to me. I’m thinking beyond how your hair looks when you leave my chair and considering how it will look and feel as it grows. ❤️

Beautiful today. Still beautiful as it grows.

Ready for a haircut that’s easier to live with? ✂️🍂

For October, I’m offering $10 off haircuts for new and existing clients.

My goal is to create a cut that works with your hair, your lifestyle, and the amount of time you actually want to spend styling it.

Because a great haircut shouldn’t just look good when you leave the salon—it should keep working for you as it grows. 🌿

Highlights don’t have to mean a harsh line of grow-out. 🌿

For me, beautiful color isn’t just about how it looks the day you leave the salon. I’m also thinking about how it will look weeks later.

That means considering your natural color, where the highlights are placed, how much dimension we leave in your hair, and—maybe most importantly—how often you actually want to come back to the salon.

Especially for women 40+, hair and gray patterns can change over time. Your color plan can change with them.

The goal?
✨ Natural-looking dimension
✨ Softer, less obvious grow-out
✨ A maintenance schedule that fits your real life
✨ Hair that still looks beautiful between appointments

Because low-maintenance color isn’t one-size-fits-all. It should be designed around you.

Okay, Cache Valley ladies… I’m curious. 😄

How often do you actually WANT to get your hair cut?

✂️ A — Every 4–6 weeks
✂️ B — Every 6–8 weeks
✂️ C — Every 8–12 weeks
😂 D — As little as humanly possible

There really isn’t a wrong answer.

One woman may love coming in every 4–6 weeks, while another wants a haircut that can happily go much longer between appointments.

That’s part of what low-maintenance hair means to me—creating a cut that works with your hair, your routine, and the amount of maintenance you actually want.

So tell me below: A, B, C or D? 👇

Hair changes. And that’s okay. 🌿

As we get older, our hair can change too—texture, density, gray, the way it falls, and even how much time we want to spend styling it.

Sometimes the haircut or routine that worked beautifully for years just… doesn’t anymore.

Instead of fighting those changes, I like to look at the hair you have today.

What’s your natural texture doing?
What feels difficult to manage?
How much styling do you actually want to do at home?
And what kind of grow-out will make your life easier?

My goal isn’t to give every woman the same haircut. It’s to create healthy, natural-looking, low-maintenance hair that works for you and your real life. ✂️

Because good hair shouldn’t require a wrestling match every morning. 😉
