Gardening!!!
Gardening is one of THE most overlooked tools for improving health, and it reminds us that healing often begins with simple solutions that our current lifestyle can sometimes make us feel are impossible to adopt.
Gardening:
Reduces stress and supports nervous system regulationâŚwhich we can ALL benefit from.
It increases physical movement naturally without feeling like exercise. One of my favorite ways to get movement is working in the garden.
Improves exposure to sunlight and supports vitamin D levels, which most of us are deficient in because we spend all damn day inside.
It reconnects us to REAL food and where nutrition actually beginsâŚwhich is in the soil, so can you please stop spraying your lawns with Roundup please???? Perfect, manicured lawns are so 80âs đ
We cannot continue down the same path⌠managing symptoms while ignoring the foundations of health.
This is why I am so EXCITED about the upcoming conference I am blessed to be part of...focused on real solutions to the current âsickâ care system. We need to start having honest conversations about prevention, nutrition, environment, lifestyle, education, and empowering people with knowledge before disease develops!
Health is not created in hospitals or doctor's offices and it certainly is not created in pharmaceuticals, despite their marketing. It is created in our homes, our kitchens, our communities, and sometimes right in our gardens â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
Join us this coming weekend for the Better Way ConferenceâŚMay 30th-31st at the Crowne Plaza in RI, where we will be co-creating solutions. Lots of great vendors and speakers that you won't want to miss.Â
