It is with tremendous pride that we recognize Susan Cruz as our Cornerstone Caregiving Employee of the Year. This past year, Susan faced something that no parent should ever have to endure-the heartbreaking loss of her beloved daughter. Through unimaginable grief and adversity, Susan continued to show incredible strength, compassion, and commitment to the people who depend on her. She always shows up on time and has been willing to travel to take care of her clients in remote areas when others may not be able to. And no matter where she is needed, Susan brings the same compassion and dedication to every client she serves. The feedback from her clients speaks volumes, again and again, they tell us how much they appreciate Susan and the exceptional care that she provides. What makes Susan truly special goes beyond simply doing her job well. It is her willingness to continue caring for others even while carrying such a tremendous loss of her own. That kind of strength, compassion, and resilience comes straight from the heart. She continues to inspire us and the difference she makes in her clients' lives is immeasurable. Congratulations Susan!!!

Cornerstone Caregiving Pueblo proudly raised $500 for our friends at Mt. Carmel Veteran Services through our company-wide initiative, Called to Care. As a result, we were honored to be invited to the Pars for Patriots golf tournament, where we had the opportunity to golf alongside the legendary Sal Katz, Regional Operations Director for Mt. Carmel Veteran Services.
Together, we share a common mission: supporting and serving as many veterans in need as possible throughout our community. We are grateful for the partnership and look forward to continuing our efforts to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served.
