WE NEED YOU — No one in our community should face freezing temperatures alone.
As dangerous cold moves in, Trinity United Methodist Church is opening an Emergency Warming Shelter beginning Friday, January 23 at 4:00 PM, and remaining open through Monday, January 26 at 12:00 PM.
This is a moment where compassion becomes action — and we need help right now to ensure the doors stay open, warm, and fully supported.
Here’s how you can help protect someone:

Donate needed supplies:
Pillows (Gently used is fine!)
Blankets (Gently used is fine!)
Hand Towels (Gently used is fine!)
Bottled Water
Drink Mixes (for water bottles)
Prepackaged Snacks (Granola bars, trail mix, peanut butter crackers etc)
Fruit
Hats, gloves or warm clothing. (Gently used is fine!)
Over the counter meds: Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Cough Drops, etc.
Hot Chocolate Packets
Coffee
Socks
Paper Towels

Provide a meal: we'll need dinner for Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner for Saturday and Sunday and breakfast for Monday.
Call Tracy Hoskins (918)706-5628if you can prepare and bring a meal.

Volunteer a few hours:

Give financially – bring donations to the church
Every blanket, every shift, every dollar helps keep someone safe from the cold.
