Seasons change, the weather comes and goes, patterns shift like the earth beneath us. Balancing life can be challenge like tree pose. We can practice for well over a decade and still fall out of it 🫠🥹

But some patterns never really change, especially the ones that are strong and reliable.

The world is loud but I’m finding my way in the flow

My experience is that religion will keep you in your head. It will keep you from going too deep. It can keep you from fully embodying the teachings it holds dear. It guards the heart in ways that make it very difficult to be open, often due to various traumas.

Spirituality on the other hand is moving into a deeper dimension. A way of dropping into your heart nature. A way of fully understanding yourself, connection to the divine spark living inside of you. Once you experience this connection, the real work becomes how to deprogram the minds barriers that control the heart.

The brain/heart really is a symbiotic relationship. I recently heard something that struck with me: whatever is in your heart, your mind will follow and that is projected onto the world. Be kind to yourself first.

How do you drop into your heart? Find what brings you joy.

For me at the moment, joy is sometimes a good novel, or seeing my son smile and laugh and giggle. He requests KPop songs regularly and as much as I try to not give in, I always do because I am a sucker to seeing his light get brighter the moment it comes on, and I hope that he never ever loses that inspiration and joy he brings in this world.

Prayers and hope in abundance for more joy in this world that may seem dark and impossible at times. Peace is worth fighting for. Blessings of Light to all who want to receive it.

What activities are you trying engage with to keep you from being your phone? What brings joy into your life?

Me: books, embroidery, being out in nature, some good TV shows, playing games and interacting with my 2 year old, relearning guitar 🎸

I’m not always successful and it’s hard to break the addictive patterns as it relates to our phones but it’s necessary and very worth it when you step away!

Parents - we need to be better role models on healthy technology patterns.

Winds are fierce today where I live. The howling surges are felt on my skin and I hear them interact with the trees, the remaining leaves of that fell from their branches from the late autumn fall. The wind breezing through the rooftops add some eerie ominous acoustics. Today’s wind came some warmth this morning that left us with a crisp breeze this evening.

Wind reminds me that change is inevitable. Things never stay the same. Sometimes it’s gentle wind guiding you to stop and listen; sometimes it’s a bluster that catches you off guard; other times it’s a storm that forces you to stop and take a deeper learning/appreciation.

When I first started this page, I had set an intention to create with an open heart. I am forever a seeker and that will always be something you can find with me. In the vane of change, there will be some ‘updates’ in the coming year that I hope are meaningful in your journey unlocking your deeper inner truths of your mind, your body, your Spirit.
