September 8th 2023 was the first official day of Moonstone Studio. After years of working full time, apprenticing in between, and finishing college, I finally created a space I could call my second home. I never imagined the people I would meet along the way, who I now consider close friends. I am so fortunate to watch my people grow, get married, settle into careers, and start families. I have truly made something to be proud of, and that I can share with the community.
To my best friend and apprentice Tia: it has been amazing to watch you blossom and share this space with you. I am so proud of your growth and how much you pour into your clients and art. You have taught me more than I express, and have given me another reason to push myself. Almost 2 years with you, and looking forward to many more.
A huge thank you to the friends and family who supported me as I spent months appealing zoning and getting this business established. Each of you kept me sane as I stayed up late doing research and working overtime. I am grateful for the encouragement and positive words I received as I took this big risk.
And most importantly, thank you to all of my clients. Many of you have been here since the beginning, some from my apprenticeship. You have supported me through every stage without hesitation, and this business would not be here without you. Every day, I push and improve for you, and I will only get better.
Here is to 3 years of Moonstone Studio 🌙 🥳
