Sixty MILLION GIRLS. SIXTY MILLION.

I was in the audience in 2003 when the initial results of HPV vaccine trials were announced and, for the first time in my career, I thought “My word, we could END this.”

I want to badly to see this in my lifetime: a CANCER eliminated.

I remember sitting, right after the launch event for “Enough:Because We Can Stop Cervical Cancer” feeling so grateful for the vulnerability of survivors wiling to share their stories, for my career opportunities that prepared me to write this book, and for the overwhelming community enveloping the belief that we can end this . Two years later- I still feel it. ’sGo. 🔥
