A group from CONNECT recently had the opportunity to attend a glass fusing workshop, and it was an incredible experience! Participants designed their own unique pieces while learning about the art of glass fusing and even getting an introduction to glass blowing.

Everyone had a wonderful time exploring their creativity, trying something new, and watching their ideas come to life in glass. Experiences like this allow individuals to express themselves, build confidence, and enjoy the creative process together.

New Year, New Beginnings at LCS

With the New Year comes new beginnings and transitions at LCS, and we want to share an important update with our community.

After careful consideration, we have made the decision to gradually phase out our prevocational (Explore) services. This decision allows us to further focus on our community-centered mission.
All other services will continue and remain unchanged.

Our Community-Based Programs, including Connect and QEST, will continue to operate as usual. Our commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered services remains strong.

You may also notice our building listed on the market in the future. Our goal is to remain in our current space, and we are actively exploring options to do so. Regardless of the outcome, we are committed to minimizing disruption and ensuring continuity of services.

While some things may look different, our focus remains the same: supporting individuals and families with reliable, meaningful community services.

Last week, everyone had an amazing time learning about entrepreneurship and creating their own candles with Ambitious Vibes Candle Company!

Each person got to pick their favorite scents and design a candle that was uniquely theirs. The creativity (and the smells!) were incredible!

This week LCS Connect took part in using their creative skills to make boooook vases during one of their classes that they hold at the Kenosha Library. Everyone really enjoyed working alongside others and creating some spooktacular pieces.
