My name is Robin Spitschan.
I’m originally from Germany and have been tattooing for over 14 years, specializing in Black & Gray realism with a focus on fine detail and large scale projects.
After 9 years of service in the German military, I opened my own studio, Enjoy Life Tattoo, in Germany and built it into a fully booked shop over the years.
A few years later, my wife and I decided to move to the U.S. to try something new and broaden our horizons.
I successfully ran my own studio in Cape Coral, FL for 3 years before we recently relocated to Raleigh, NC with our daughter.
Becoming a father changed my perspective.
It made me think more long-term, about responsibility, stability, and building something that actually lasts. That mindset is a big part of how I approach my work.
I’ve always been drawn to Black & Gray because it’s timeless.
If it’s done right, it still holds up decades later, and that’s what I care about.
When I work with clients, it’s always a collaboration.
You bring the idea, and I guide the process to make sure it fits your body, flows naturally, and works long-term.
Outside of tattooing, you’ll probably find me at the airfield. I have my pilot’s license, and aviation has been a passion of mine since I was a kid.
